Learning disorders (LD) are a neurodevelopmental disorder that affects an individual’s ability to learn new information, with the onset occurring in childhood and can range in severity. Learning disorders make learning and acquiring new knowledge difficult, which can then impede an individual to be successful at school and/or at work. The major areas of learning disorders include reading, writing, and math. Learning disorders are persistent and reflect an individual’s academic skills to be significantly below what would be expected. At TNI, we will provide a comprehensive evaluation to assess an individual’s cognition, achievement, and screen for any potential mood or anxiety that may be affecting the learning process.
