Christina M. Vasquez, PhD
Clinical Psychologist
Dr. Christina Vasquez is a licensed psychologist in the state of Arizona, with over 10 years of experience in the field of school, clinical, and neuropsychology. Dr. Vasquez received her doctoral degree from the University of Arizona in School Psychology with an emphasis in Emotional and Behavioral Disorders. She completed an APA-accredited internship in clinical psychology working with young adults and adults providing psychotherapy, followed by post-doctoral training in neuropsychology, where she performed neuropsychological evaluations for adults with brain injuries and those with progressive neurocognitive impairments. Dr. Vasquez also holds certifications in advanced training of ADHD, life coach, and completed a certification in the Program for the Education and Enrichment of Relational Skills (PEERS®) at UCLA, which teaches ecologically valid social skills to adolescents and young adults with various neurodevelopmental disorders such as autism and ADHD. Dr. Vasquez is a PSYPACT member which allows her to provide psychological services across PSYPACT affiliated states. Dr. Vasquez’s clinical focus is evaluating young adults and adults with psychiatric illness, ADHD, autism, and learning challenges. It is her goal to allow her patients to better understand themselves so they can lead the most successful life, despite any potential psychological and cognitive challenges they may have.
Dr. Vasquez was a recipient of the Erasmus Circle Graduate Scholar and also the Doctoral Minority Fellowship from the American Psychological Association. Dr. Vasquez is licensed by the Arizona Board of Psychologist Examiners. She is a member of the American Psychological Association, Southern Arizona Psychological Association, and the National Association of Neuropsychology. In her free time, she enjoys playing golf and spending time with friends and family.
